VAN MORRISON: Instrumentals - A Compilation 2010

I've never been a huge Van Fan but there was always one or two tracks per LP that i loved. Usually they were the jams by that amazing band, including Mr. Morrison. Obviously, someone else agrees with me as they put this together. My personal favorites are "Celtic Swing" which sounds to me like a weird Eno song with old Roxy boy Andy Mckay's soft and breathy sax leading the way over an ambient and delicate shuffle as backbone. The other "Caladonia Soul Music" is just straight jam session. There's more but just get it and listen. 01 - Sax Instrumental #1 - (3.34) CD Single "Back On Top", 1999 02 - Scandinavia - (6.38) Beautiful Vision, 1982 03 - Connswater - (4.09) Inarticulate Speech Of The Heart,(SHM) Japanese Remasters 1983 04 - Celtic Swing - (5.03) Inarticulate Speech Of The Heart,(SHM) Japanese Remasters 05 - Inarticulate Speech Of The Heart #1 - (4.53) Inarticulate Speech Of The Heart ,(SHM) Japanese Remasters 1983 06 - September Night - (5.16) Inarticulate Speech Of The Heart,(SHM) Japanese Remasters 1983 07 - Evening Meditation - (4.13) Sense Of Wonder,(SHM) Japanese Remasters 1985 08 - Boffyflow & Spike - (3.06) Sense Of Wonder,(SHM) Japanese Remasters 1985 09 - Spanish Steps - (5.20) Poetic Champions Compose, 1987 10 - Celtic Excavation - (3.17) Poetic Champions Compose, 1987 11 - Allow Me - (3.53) Poetic Champions Compose, 1987 12 - Close Enough For Jazz - (2.40) Too Long In Exile, 1993 13 - Yo - (2.48) CD Single, "Days Like This", 1995 14 - Caladonia Soul Music - (16.25) Van Morrison (unreleaesed 1971) source side A side B
