People Water For every bottle purchased, People Water will give an equal amount of clean water to a person in need. DROP | FOR | DROP

An open letter regarding our recent social media campaign: We are writing to address the concerns that have been expressed by many regarding our recent initiative to support the Philippine typhoon victims. At the outset, let us state that this campaign was ill conceived, and we certainly understand why some of you would be offended by the way we handled things. We are very sorry. In an honest attempt to help those in need, some of our employees hurriedly decided to launch this initiative. However, People Water’s management was not consulted about this campaign before it was posted to our social media outlets. As soon as we were made aware of the situation, we became concerned. Although our employees’ intent was sincere, we are troubled by what may be perceived as an advertising campaign based on those who are seriously suffering. In addition, the open-ended nature of the campaign made it difficult for us to measure and monitor our commitment. We will meet our obligations for yesterday’s shares, re-posts, and purchases that took place during our business hours of 8 am to 5 pm, Mountain Standard Time. Because we are a start-up venture, our resources are too limited to keep this commitment open for a longer period of time, although we wish we could. Internally, we have taken appropriate steps to guarantee that this type of behavior will not take place again, and we assure you that we will learn from our mistakes. We are sincerely committed to making a difference in the global water crisis. We never want to come across as flippant or insincere in our efforts. Again, we sincerely apologize to our valued supporters and to the community at large. In keeping with our original intent, we encourage everyone to consider the needs of the Philippine typhoon victims and to contribute generously to disaster relief agencies where possible. Respectfully, People Water Management Team
