Wiki sez this album is art pop. That's cool with me, because I don't really know how to describe it any better. Jim O'Rourke has been putting out albums for years and years, collaborating with people like Thurston Moore, Fennesz, and Merzbow. His early recordings are really spaced out droney stuff, but the mid-range stuff (like this) tends to have more of an acoustic folk sound, but you can still hear those early tendencies. Very mellow sh!t right here.
