Roy G. Duncan Sock Cymbal Pedal 1930

Here we have a Roy G. Duncan pedal, made in Los Angeles in the 1930s. As you can see parts of this pedal are modified plumber parts, other parts like the footboard are cast iron and typical for the period. The condition of this pedal is quite rusty. You can see some paint left, not sure what color this was when new, probably red. This pedal can be found in Slingerland catalogs from the 1930s, advertised as the Duncan Sock Cymbal Pedal. Later models were probably made by Walberg & Auge and used the typical tubes and legs this company is known for. See below for a Slingerland catalog scan 1936. http://www.hidehitters.com/pedals/Duncanlowboy/duncanpedal.html
