VAN MORRISON: Instrumentals - A Compilation 2010
I've never been a huge Van Fan but there was always one or two tracks per LP that i loved. Usually they were the jams by that amazing band, including Mr. Morrison.
Obviously, someone else agrees with me as they put this together. My personal favorites
are "Celtic Swing" which sounds to me like a weird Eno song with old Roxy boy Andy Mckay's soft and breathy sax leading the way over an ambient and delicate shuffle as backbone. The other "Caladonia Soul Music" is just straight jam session. There's more but just get it and listen.
