ZZ Top-TRES HOMBRES (1973) a vinyl rip savior

My cents; If you had owned and listen to Tres Hombres as much as you should have then followed the hype (as i did) and got the CD, you were HORRIFIED as to the remix. This was then how everyone heard it, on radio, in movies, TV and from the shitty CD for years. It was during the "Cheap Sunglasses" period. Finally some audiophile convinced them to fix it back the the original radness mix. (these flaws are very apparent on the drum mixs; ie; lost in heavy reverb and such) During the height of ZZ Tops’ success in the early 1980s an inferior “digitally remixed” version of the recording replaced the original 1973 analog mix. The remix version was used on all early CD copies and was the only version available for over 20 years. A remastered and expanded edition of the album was released on February 28, 2006, which contains three bonus live tracks. The 2006 edition is the first CD version to use the original 1973 mix. GET IT OK! COMPARE THESE TWO! 1ST THE TRUE VINYL NOTE; LISTEN TO THE INTRO DRUMSTICKS. '73 very dry and raw, the other is soaked in shit. 2ND THE HORROR!!! PEOPLE HOLD YER VINYL!!!!!!!
