Miles Davis- Kind Of Blue- Vinyl Rip(promo pressing)

Some sources say "Kind of Blue" is the biggest selling jazz record of all time. I hardly need to say much about it. It's as classic as classic can get. This original mono pressing has white promo labels, and is in immaculate condition. No scratches, not even a hairline. Needless to say it's quite rare, and makes for a very enjoyable listening experience. If you're only used to hearing it in stereo, this will be a different experience. It sounds kind of "forward", particularly the saxes. Overall it has a nice timbre, especially in the midrange. I spent about 5 hours manually removing little clicks and surface noise, all low in level and probably wouldn't have bothered most people, but I was in perfectionist mode. I was very careful not to harm any music. This record probably hasn't been played too much. It's spotless, even the labels show no signs of wear (no spindle marks). 1959 Columbia Records CL 1355 (mono) original US pressing white label promo originally released August 17, 1959 tracks: A1 - So What A2 - Freddie Freeloader A3 - Blue In Green B1 - All Blues B2 - Flamenco Sketches note: all original pressings had the B side track titles reversed on the label and back of jacket musicians: Miles Davis - trumpet John Coltrane - tenor saxophone Julian "Cannonball" Adderley - alto saxophone Bill Evans - piano (except A2) Paul Chambers - bass Jimmy Cobb - drums Wynton Kelly - piano on A2 only note: Cannonball Adderley's last name misspelled on cover and back of jacket recorded at Columbia Studios (30th Street), NYC, March 2 and April 22, 1959 vinyl LP transfer at 24-bit 96khz password = superfuzz part 1; http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PINA6BVG part 2; http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CL1RUO5K part 3:http://www.megaupload.com/?d=P56HT39O
