Smile
THE FALL on the tube channel 4 - 1983
"Tight faded male arse
Decadence and Anarchy
He said, he smiled
Something to dance to
A certain style
SMILE"
Perverted by Language is a 1983 album by The Fall. It was the first Fall album to feature Brix Smith, then wife of Mark E. Smith.
* Mark E. Smith – vocals, piano, violin
* Craig Scanlon – guitar, vocals
* Steve Hanley – bass guitar
* Paul Hanley – drums, keyboards
* Karl Burns – drums, bass guitar
* Brix Smith – guitar & lead vocals on "Hotel Blöedel"; backing vocals on "Eat Y'Self Fitter"
One of my favorites.
They still had the raw bite I love, later lost but then regained.
The everchanging line-up made for many problems as Mark E. seemed to be just a little difficult. But hell, he's a damn genius and who would'nt put up with it.
Great stories of his public humiliation of band members to find on line.(usually drummers)
