In The Mechanic (1972) Charles Bronson plays a hit man who takes an apprentice. In the end his apprentice betrays him, but Bronson avenges from the grave. This also Jan-Michael Vincent's 'tour de force'. He just never could follow up, which is strange for his 'hunky' status at the time. I believe he went 'Disney' and so on... but even with his great performance in "Big Wednesday", he could'nt get back on the roll that should've been post "The Mechanic". A Classic.
