For those of you with tons of vinyl getting more and more dusty....
and the turntable in storage.....
How much have you wasted to have something on CD, either for "Quality" or
convenience?
I still love using the turntable yet lately I find myself mostly hearing music in the car.
I'm certainly not hip to the latest software and there's probably a better program out there(if so let me know?), but this FREE download is a great thing for now.
To start I've just been using an old Magnavox self contained unit with amp included and running RCA to MINI PLUG direct into a laptop.
I've only done 'low-fi' so far but there's many options here and just search the page and I'm sure you'll be happy.
Certain LP's I just will not buy on disc and this software makes it possible to enjoy
them in other formats without spending.
I'm waiting to do the real audiophile test with a little more current components.

(remember most 70's+ turntables don't have a pre amp inside so you may need to use something to give it power. There is a page in the process that says "direct from turntable" / "from amplifier" so it may work sans power.)
