I recently took my Bonzer LV to have it's injuries mended at Ventura Surf Shop.
There was 2 open quarter size dings on the rail that I had fixed, sadly after water had crept in. In time, this spread to the deck creating a tortilla size delam from rail to deck, suffering two odd color pigments and 3 pin lines!
My past experience with ding repair has been a nightmare, in the way of too much time and when it calls for anything other than clear sanded, lots a dough!
"Wooly Bear"(sp???) is the man that does the repairs and to make along story a little shorter, he was done in THREE DAYS and the total cost was 90.00!!!
Sure if ya look close the repair can be seen, but I challenge anyone to do better and in 3 days none the less!
I highly suggest using "Wooly", even if a drive is in order as the shop itself has a lot to offer in new and used gems from the area of many master shapers.
