"The Passenger"

A double posting and special music treat for my cyber communication will be down for a day cuz I pressed a boo boo button! Iggy Pop - "The Passenger" on The White Room CH4 I've got alot of Iggy stuff but as his band at this time contained Hunt and Tony Sales (sons of Soupy Sales) and I have a lil' trivia as well, I'll go with this rockin version. During my days of thrift and pawn shopping for discarded gems I came across an amazing drum kit of the likes I'd never seen before! 'Hospital gown' green, all drums very small( 18" bass drum when most are 22") and the wheels where 'wheelchair grey'!WHEELS YOU SAY? Yes, the concept comes from the 20's when alot of Kits where completely connected on two axles with rubber or 'market basket' style wheels! It turns out it was pawned by Hunt Sales during hard times and the kicker was they were an old birthday gift from dad Soupy! I used this kit alot and besides it's novelty, it sounded damn good. I even recorded with it!(Acetone LP #4 Vapor Records) There's pix to prove it, as well as pix of old buddy migo hangin' in studio. I'll edit the post with the sleeve pix when I can borrow one cuz I don't even own a copy!!
