"Options R"
On Wednesday, March 29th,2006 by invitation from the co-founders and CEO of Google, Vinod Khosla, visited Google to deliver a tech talk about the emergence of ethanol as a viable, market ready, and competitive source of renewable energy.
Kinda long but really interesting facts on ethanol.
As far as alternative fuels go the jury is still out on which one is the best but one thing we know is SOMETHING MUST CHANGE!
The vegetable oil fuel seems to me to make more sense enviromentally yet to sell it to the nation seems more difficult.
Going ethanol is better than gas for reasons here but he's talking about reductions not
eliminations of our fuel CRISIS!
The facts on Brazil going from 4% ethanol use to 80% in 3 years all by consumer demand is amazing. It was cheaper at the pump.
VW is very close to having all their cars be flex fuel ready.
GM and Ford already have cars on the road that can handle ethanol and the owners don't know it! The 'Tauris'and Ford's 'F150' are just two. Check your manual it'll tell you.
Having actual stations might be a good idea next!
At least the talk is serious now but the coorperate agenda is still being used as a selling point.
To get around that we'll need complete shift in moral attitude which seems a dreamy
delusion.
Let's get on it cuz the time has never been more crucial considering "The Decider" and this war he's "winning"!
