"The Human Abstract"

Verve"a man called sun" metro 93 This brings back some good memories. It was the 1st American tour for us (Acetone) and Verve. (pre "the") We Quickly became good friends and always looked forward to these shows in Chicago. They were very pro at the theatrical live show with a full light show and crew which gave us the idea for our own "show". After sound check we ran to the local thrift store and bought assorted stylish home lamps, plugged them all into a single strip and ended up using that very idea for many years. It really worked for us. (which was great cuz we did'nt have a crew) David Axelrod with Richard Ashcroft doing a bit of "Holy Are You" (The song Verve used as their opening theme for every show since we met until they broke) The theme at the end of the clip is another Axelrod gem called "The Human Abstract".
