The 'Bumble bee' sporting an 8" 'Fins Unlimited' plain wrap fin.
Of course, speed has been sacrificed a tad but the control and hold is magic in steeper
conditions.
The 8" was Malcolm's fin in the days of yor, but with primative foils.
He suggested this to me and it's the way to go, I feel.
On a related subject, in the movie 'Glass love' Neil Purchase is seen experimenting with a simular design but with different runners. He seems to be using more of an egg/flex fin that, in my opinion, is a detriment to the bonzer design.
Something about the flex disrupting the flow through the concaves and runners. You'd never know it by his surfing, but I'll stick w/MC.
